Shinrin Yoku

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the forest and absorb its healing power in a unique and mindful way.

With Shinrin Yoku you enter the here and now in a mindful way, step back from everyday life, unwind and recharge your body and mind with new energy in a calmness that is often missing today.

Shinrin Yoku has its roots in the nature-based mindfulness practice of Zen Buddhism and Shintoism and was born in 1982 in Japan, were the practice of "bathing in the forest" is nationally acknowledged and a scientifically researched form of health promotion in nature.

I invite you to explore various techniques to discover the forest and yourself in a new way. It'll not be the usual walk in the forest, I promise you. We'll practice mindful walking according to Thich Nhat Hanh, activate all our senses, practice different meditations through movements from Qigong and ZEN rituals.

"Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet"
